Even though most of the world has slowed down or halted altogether, couples are still getting married and having wedding celebrations. Everyone is at a different place with how comfortable they are travelling, being around crowds or leaving the house in general during these unpredictable times. But, no matter how you feel about wedding celebrations taking place, it is still polite and necessary to RSVP to any wedding invitation you receive. I recently shared my advice on how to turn down a wedding invitation with Fortune.
If someone sends you an invitation in the mail, and they provide an RSVP card, fill that card out accordingly. Do the same with an electronic invitation and wish the couple well––very simple. I do not recommend giving explanations.
